  1.                      Introduction to PC-Write by Quicksoft

  3. Welcome to PC-Write!  This screen tells how to get started.  First make
  4. a backup copy of this diskette.  Then print or type the PC-Write manual.
  5. If you are familiar with software, see QUICKS.ME for more information.
  6. If not, read "Guide to Operations" manual about disk drives, diskettes,
  7. files, file names, and COPY and DISKCOPY commands, then read our manual.
  8.  
  9. To make a backup copy of this diskette, put it in drive A and an empty,
  10. formatted diskette in drive B.  Enter the command:
  11.   A>COPY *.* B:
  12. If you prefer, put the DOS diskette in drive A and enter the command:
  13.   A>DISKCOPY a: b:
  14. Use this copy as your PC-Write diskette.  Save the original.
  15.  
  16. To get the manual, enter either:
  17.   A>PRINTMAN   (print manual; best at 12 chars/inch)
  18.   A>TYPEMAN    (type manual on screen)
  19. The manual has about 180 pages.  To print or type starting at any page,
  20. enter the number of pages to skip after the command:
  21.   A>PRINTMAN 8 (skip 8 pages)
